ONLINE TRAINING WEBINAR
CHIP International, with facilitators from Learning Differently and the Swiss Special Education Network and Inclusion Association, will hold a comprehensive virtual training workshop on Learning Disabilities especially tailored to help you manage in these challenging times. The webinar will cover the following topics:
Day 1: The basics of dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, attention deficit
Myths /facts about LD
Impact of those disabilities on memory and learning
Breakout groups for SMART goals with case studies
Google reflection/polling tool? I used to think… now I think...
Day 2: How to manage classroom - to keep the group intact (inclusion)
Teachers- heart set and mindset- the language to use and avoid
Responsive Language- Building positive relationships with kids
Classroom management strategies-
Uncovering the cause of misbehaviors and
Positive consequences or supports
Case studies for discussion/ Q & A
