This initiative is aimed at achieving transformational and systematic change in the lives of vulnerable children with autism and developmental delays, overwhelmed teachers, ”memorizing” students, and worn-out parents. CHIP International's first Benefit Reception was held at the MIST in New York City in October 2019. Proceeds from that and subsequent receptions are to materialize into running a West African Center to allow parents a resource and a relief to know someone else is sharing their burden: to have a diagnosis for their child with trained personnel. Lycee and University students will have a library (digital and physical) and a quiet place to further their studies on autism and developmental delays.
